I received the black bracelet as a gift. It means so much to me (I tell the story to everyone who asks about it), that I ordered one for my best friend's birthday!

I loved this bracelet when I purchased the orange one. It looks great in the summer, at the beach and doing sporty things. But what I needed a black one for other occasions. It is perfect! I love it’s simplicity and sleek design. I own two of these bracelets. Worth the money!

The bracelot was very much bigger than what I measured. Now have to figure out how to make it smaller(:

I bought this bracelet for my husband. It took forwver to get from the States to the UK but now its here. I also ordered a yellow one for me. We're wearing them all the time to remind us of those who struggle in adversity. We are telling everyone about Epimonia. The bracelets are soft and comfortable to wear. They're about just over half an inch wide. The clasps look a bit battered - hey, they've gone through trauma. What a great idea because we push the charity through them to others. Good work, Epimonia!

This is my second bracelet and I love it. Both are super comfortable and don't catch on clothes. But their meaning is what counts and the chance to talk about supporting refugees.

I feel proud when I wear this! Wearing the black one throughout the Chauvin (George Floyd) trial -Black Lives Matter.

I'm often asked about the bracelet which prompts a great conversation about the refugee crisis and how Epimonia is supporting them and groups advocating for the rights of refugees. The bracelets also make great gifts to friends and relatives. Young children are also curious about them and even like to play with them.

I bought it as a gift to my brother. He loved it, fitted perfectly. When I explain the cause I believe he loved it more.

A favorite to wear instantly. A beloved item supporting a great cause.

I bought this as a gift for my mom (in the UK) as she has been volunteering with refugee assistance for more than 10 years. I live in Greece and volunteered regularly at the camp in Idomeni in Northern Greece 2015-2017. This gift means so much to my mother and me as it is far more that just beautiful jewellery. It is not only assisting refugees but is also created by refugees from the items that carried them to Greece.

Bought these for my college-aged kids. We live in MN and my kids know more about immigration and refugee issues than I do. When I found this site it was a win-win for us. Supports local business, raises awareness of asylum seekers and refugees, uses potential landfill waste for good, and raises monies for refugee programs. Solidly made too.

I read about you in the Boston Globe and was impressed. The black bracelet I ordered is beautiful. I admire your mission and would love to hear more about the refugees you are helping or employing.

It is a nice weight and closes securely.

This is a terrific bracelet and the lock on it is just amazing in that it is both magnetic and also has a hitch to it so it really stays in place… And did I mention it looks really great

Awesome - a toned down version of the embracelet, but with an equally powerful message.

This bracelet would make a great Christmas or other occasion gift for anyone -man or woman, young or over-the-hill-ish like me- who is interested in the world and any sort of humanitarianism and other (or same people?) who appreciate fine craftsmanship. I look at my bracelet thinking what an odd mix of materials, evoking such contradictory experience. The outer layer - strip from a life jacket-holds in it a refugee's fear, loss and hope, while the inner strip -a strip of of leather stamped with 'Building humanity Piece By Piece' reminds me of having security, privilege and creativity. What a great way to help people.
