EPIMONIA will showcase their latest art exhibit, featuring products made from recycled life jackets worn by refugees during their journey to safety.
You'll have the opportunity to purchase these unique items, with a portion of the proceeds going towards supporting refugees.
Elias Yabarow, better known as ALAKKUU, is a Somali-American poet and author of Wet Grass Vanilla, a poetry book that has been studied in High Schools across several U.S states. He has given a Tedx Talk about his motherland, completed two U.S poetry tours to support relief efforts in East Africa, and has been covered by Forbes, Voice of America and BuzzFeed for his work.
ALAKKUU will be giving a live performance of an original piece.
